These General Terms of Sale and Use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the TradeMetrics software-as-a-service (SaaS): position size calculator, trading journal and trading account tracking. Creating an account gives access to the Starter trial. Subscribing to a paid plan is subject to acceptance of these Terms and to confirmation of payment.

Access to the service requires creating a personal account. The user represents that they are at least 18 years old and that the information they provide is accurate. Login credentials are strictly personal: any account sharing or resale of access is prohibited and may result in suspension of the account.

The user is responsible for keeping their password confidential and for all activity carried out from their account.

The Starter plan begins with a 30-day free trial with no credit card required, then costs €6 per month or €54 per year. Essential costs €12 per month or €120 per year, and Advanced €24 per month or €240 per year. Prices and features are detailed on the Pricing page. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the chosen billing interval until cancelled. The trial never triggers an automatic charge. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; TradeMetrics never has access to card numbers. An invoice is issued for each billing period.

VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (CGI) (subject to the publisher's tax status). Any plan change and its billing effects, if any, are shown before confirmation in the checkout flow. If a payment fails, access may be suspended until the balance is settled.

Distance contracts concluded with a consumer may give rise to a 14-day withdrawal period. If the customer requests that the service start immediately, the effect on this right depends on the nature of the service and on the conditions set out in the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation). Where the exception applicable to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium is relied upon, it requires in particular the consumer's prior express consent and express acknowledgment that they lose the right, confirmed on a durable medium.

The checkout flow specifies the request for immediate access and collects the required consents before subscription. For any question about exercising this right, contact support before ordering.

TradeMetrics strives to keep the service available 24/7 but is bound only by a best-efforts obligation (obligation de moyens). Access may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates, or in the event of an outage at a third-party provider (hosting, database, payments).

The publisher cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from temporary unavailability — including a missed trading opportunity — or from a display bug. Users are encouraged to export their data regularly (CSV export available in the dashboard).

All technical, graphic and textual elements of TradeMetrics — source code, interface, database, logo, content — are the exclusive property of its publisher. Any reproduction, copying, automated extraction (scraping), reverse engineering or resale of the service, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited and may give rise to legal action. Trading data entered by the user remains the user's property.

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher's total liability to the user, for any cause whatsoever, is strictly limited to the total amount paid by the user during the three (3) months preceding the event that gave rise to the damage. Under no circumstances is the publisher liable for the user's trading losses, which result solely from the user's own execution decisions (article 03).

By the user

Cancellation is done from the subscription management page in the customer area ("Manage my subscription"). It stops renewal; access remains active until the end of the current paid period. Trading data remains stored after expiry. No prorated refunds are issued.

By the publisher

The publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete an account, without notice, in the event of abusive behavior, attempted intrusion, access sharing or breach of these Terms.

The data collected (email, Stripe customer ID, journal data) is strictly necessary to manage the subscription and operate the service. It is never sold to third parties. The user has the right to access, rectify, port and delete their data, which can be exercised simply by emailing contact@trademetrics.fr.

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the user agrees to contact the publisher first in order to seek an amicable solution. Failing agreement, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Consumers may also use a consumer mediator free of charge under the conditions set out in articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation).
